The Emerson Company has been around since 1890, when it was established by two Scottish brothers in St. Louis. Emerson wet/dry vacuums have been on the market since 1965 – over 40 years. In the recent 19th Annual Appliance Design Excellence in Design Award it took Gold and Silver for the RIDGID® Stor-N-Go™ Wet/Vac.
Emerson’s RIDGID wet/vac product line has 5 wet/dry vacuums, with capacities ranging from a 3 gallon cordless to a 12 gallon model. All models come with a Tug-A-Long ™ locking hose that will not pull out during use. All models are UL listed.
The small, lightweight, 3 gallon cordless wet/dry vac (Model #2450) will run for 16 minutes on a single charge. With a diameter of 1-7/8”, the hose is small enough to be flexible, yet large enough to prevent many clogs. This small and versatile portable Emerson wet dry vacuum cleaner is great is impressive both in cleaning up messes and as a blower.
The other four commercial Emerson wet/dry vacuums are great on the job site for cleaning up drywall dust. On board storage keeps all the attachments organized, handy, and easy to reach. For your biggest jobs, use the 12 gallon wet/dry vac (Model #WD1246) – it powerful, easy to drain and maneuver, but with a 20% quieter operation than the 9 gallon model (#WD 0945).
